What is Durood?
Durood or Darood Shareef (from Persian: درود dorood) or aṣ-ṣalātu ʿala -n-nabī (from Arabic: الصلاة على النبي) is an invocation which Muslims make by saying specific phrases to compliment the Islamic prophet Muhammad.
